8-Note Steel Tongue Drum with Mallet and Songbook - 4.5 Inch Mini Handpan

The first note lands and the room changes. A steel tongue drum asks nothing of you — no lessons, no theory, no sense of rhythm you were told you didn't have. You touch it, and it answers.

Sound that anyone can find

• Eight numbered notes — the tones are stamped straight onto the shell, so the songbook reads as 1-5-3-6 rather than as sheet music you have to decode first.
• Hand-finished steel shell — precision-cut slots and an anti-corrosion coating give each tongue a clear, balanced tone that rings on rather than dying flat.
• Genuinely pocket-sized — 11.5cm across and 6cm tall. It lives on a desk, a windowsill or in a coat pocket, which is why it actually gets played.
• Everything in one box — one drum, one wooden mallet, one songbook and a sheet of note stickers. Nothing else to buy.
• Four finishes — gold, green, navy and purple, each a deep speckled metallic rather than a flat paint.
• Played with fingers or mallet — fingertips give a soft, muted warmth; the mallet gives a brighter, longer ring.

Some instruments demand years before they give anything back. This one gives you something on the first afternoon, and keeps giving as your hands learn the shape of it.
