Built to Last. Built Responsibly.
We believe technology and responsibility aren't opposites. At VIKRN, we're committed to building great products without cutting corners on our planet.
We're a technology company at our core — and with that comes a responsibility to think about how our products are made, what they're made from, and what happens to them after their lifecycle ends.
We're not perfect, and we don't claim to be. But we're committed to continuous improvement and transparency about where we stand and where we're headed.
Product Longevity
The most sustainable product is one that lasts. Every VIKRN helmet is engineered for durability — backed by a 5-Year Limited Warranty and built with components that can be serviced and repaired rather than discarded. We design for longevity, not planned obsolescence.
Responsible Manufacturing
We work with manufacturers who share our commitment to quality and responsible practices. We're actively working to:
- Source materials from suppliers with verifiable ethical standards
- Reduce waste in the production process
- Minimize packaging to what's necessary — no wasteful filler
- Use packaging materials that are recyclable wherever possible
Packaging
We've reduced unnecessary packaging without compromising product protection. Our outer boxes are made from recycled materials, and we continue to evaluate alternatives to plastic inserts and foam padding.
Shipping Footprint
We consolidate orders where possible to reduce the number of shipments and work with carriers who are investing in lower-emission delivery solutions. We're also exploring carbon offset programs for our shipping operations.
Our Ongoing Commitment
Sustainability is a journey. We're committed to setting measurable goals, tracking our progress, and reporting honestly on what we're doing well and what we need to improve. We'll update this page as our practices evolve.
